Founded in the early 2000s, the Louisville Halloween Parade began it's early years as the Caufield's Halloween Parade. It quickly grew in size and popularity. At the time, the parade took place on Friday evenings. As time passed, Caufield's was no longer able to participate as the presenter of the Halloween Parade. Louisville Halloween, "Louisville's Home For Halloween", stepped in to fill the role as the new presenter of the event. With only 6 weeks for the event to be put together that year, Louisville Halloween was able to keep the event going without a lapse.
Today, Louisville Halloween has evolved the Halloween Parade into the Louisville Halloween Parade & Festival, introducing an all day street festival that occurs alongside the Parade.
Outside of the Louisville Halloween Parade & Festival, Louisville Halloween is also the producer of a number of other Halloween events in town. Louisville Halloween is responsible for the Danger Run, Legend at Pope Lick Haunted Woods, Black Orchard Haunted House and the First Division Family Fright Night. Louisville Halloween also produces events year round, including Derby events, immersive experiences and more.
We cannot thank you enough for your interest in our event and we hope that you are able to make it! The Louisville Halloween Parade & Festival is a fun, free event for the entire family to enjoy.
